Seattle Film Summit line-up includes TOP Women In Film + Hollywood leaders December 9-10

The 2017 Seattle Film Summit is set to arrive along the beautiful shores of Lake Washington just east of downtown Seattle December 9-10.  The two day summit, founded by Washington State Filmmaker and Actor Ben Andrews, is designed to bring together Pacific Northwest community partners in the film + digital media space.

This years Summit will feature a number of well known Women In Film industry leaders from both Hollywood and around the PNW region that include film school leaders, writers, producers, directors, actors, casting directors and talent booking leaders that have worked on over over 250 films and TV/Web shows combined.

Women In Film leader and British Casting Director NIKE IMORU, one of Media Inc Magazine’s Women of Influence in Film + Media almuni whom is one of the most reputable and  extraordinary professionals in the industry is scheduled to appear.

Imoru also is a well versed Actor, Director, Writer who carries a PhD and an array of credits in the entertainment industry covering thirty years and twenty one countries.  She has been the Casting Director for SYFY Channel Z-Nation for all four seasons.

Another ‘Women of Influence’ Media Inc Magazine alumni Lorraine Montz, whom is leading the logistical charge of the summit along with Andrews,  also will be spearheading her own creative story lab at the summit Abundant Story Playground.  “The Summit is a conduit to connect storytellers with content consumers,” she said. “I’ve been a part of the entertainment industry since I was a kid, but I’ve found our storytelling world is changing. This event is part of that change.”

One of the summits biggest names arriving from Hollywood is the CEO and Founder, Richard “RB” Botto whom heads up the worlds largest digital platform that connects and educates Film and Creative artists around the global – STAGE 32.

Called “LinkedIn meets Lynda for film creatives” by Forbes Magazine, Stage 32 proudly boasts a member base (It’s FREE) of over 500,000 and features over 1000 hours of film craft and business related education taught by over 500 industry executives across the globe.  Over the years, Media Inc Magazine has met and heard from RB at global festivals and markets.  His wisdom and industry knowledge as a moderator has always been filled with enriching and educational dialogue. Other notable Woman In Film special guest will include Northwest Film Forum (NWFF) Executive Director Courtney Sheehan.

While guiding the vision and strategy of the NWFF, Sheehan oversees all the artistic programs and services, operations, finances, and fundraising activities.  She also has has curated film programs and produced events for theaters and festivals on three continents.
