Liberman Broadcasting, Inc., the largest privately held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States, announced that its national Hispanic television network, Estrella TV, has inked an affiliate deal with World Television of Washington, LLC in the Seattle market. Effective immediately, Estrella TV will broadcast its programming line-up on KBCB-TV.

Seattle is the 27th largest U.S. Hispanic TV market, representing 105,850 Hispanic TV households. Now broadcasting in 37 markets nationwide, Estrella TV reaches over 77 percent of U.S. Hispanic households and has now increased its affiliate count to 29. Estrella TV already has a presence in the Northwest through an affiliate agreement with Belo Corp.’s KGW-TV in Portland.

“With the addition of the Seattle market and the launch of Comcast Chicago last month, Estrella TV is one step closer to broadcasting in every one of the top 40 markets; its programming strategy has helped position Estrella TV as a 'must-have' network for any distributor that wants to access the Hispanic Market,” says Lenard Liberman, President and CEO of Liberman Broadcasting, Inc.
